Description:
The Architectural Designer will be responsible for producing designs and deliverables for a portfolio of projects, collaborating with the internal project team. Responsibilities include:
- Work directly for Principals, Project Architect and others to assist with design, and production of documents.
- Work independently as required on all phases of a project including Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Contract Administration.
- Production of technical and presentation drawings as required for the project using AutoCAD and Revit, and Rhino.
- Presentation and rendering work using VRay, illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and other software required.
- Work with the Principals, Project Architects and others to solve design problems and provide design analysis as required.
- Researching sustainable technologies.
- In-house administration requirements including filing, management of project files and standards and assisting with the office organization.
Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in architecture and eligible for registration or registered with AIBC.
- Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD.
- Proficient in Rhino, Sketchup Bluebeam, MS office Suite, Adobe.
- Detailed oriented, with ability to produce well-detailed construction drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
