Application Engineer

Description:

Pangea is partnering with a Canadian-owned cleantech company advancing a sustainable economy by creating energy storage systems using repurposed electric vehicle batteries. They are looking for an Application Engineer to join their fast-growing team.

The role:

• Work with customers to size projects and identify the best energy storage solutions.
• Understand and address customer needs with appropriate applications.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in solar, off-grid technologies, and industry trends.
• Lead project installations and commissioning within microgrid environments.
• Perform site visits for accurate project planning and deployment.
• Maintain and oversee existing projects, resolving issues quickly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer problems.
• Gain expertise in integrating energy storage with microgrid systems.

The candidate:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.
• Experience in energy storage
• Experience with high-power electrical systems.
• Proven project management skills from start to finish.
