Who we are: The Community Investment Program provides funding investments to support a strong and sustainable Peel not-for-profit sector that meets the needs of residents and advances community impact. These investments provide essential funding to Peel not-for-profits that are building community by; providing programs to the most vulnerable; supporting capacity and resources for marginalized and equity-seeking populations; and enabling upstream systems change that addresses complex social challenges.
What you will do in this role:
- Support the strategic oversight of Community Initiatives development of equity funding framework for Community Investment and Anti-Human Sex Trafficking programs.
- Support the development of innovative program requirements, application processes and guidelines, reporting protocols and risk management frameworks appropriate to various types of funding programs.
- Prepare information for program reporting requirements and ensure program policies and procedures are consistent with regional policy and funding administration guidelines.
- Work with internal and external partners to support the development and implementation of a community engagement framework for Peel not-for-profits.
- Develop various tools, processes, methodologies and reporting practices for Community Investment, Anti-Human Sex Trafficking funding and other community initiatives and recommend and implement changes as necessary to reflect the changing landscape of the Community in Peel.
- Provide strategic analysis and business practices expertise, consultation and advisory services that will assist in decision-making, inform policy, and program development.
- Develop frameworks and performing analysis to ensure that funded Community Investment agencies follow program requirements and other similar agreements, standards, guidelines, and relevant legislation/regulations.
- Prepare specialized documents, reports, presentations, and statistical analysis for various stakeholders in Social Development, Partnerships and Planning.
What the role requires:
- University degree/diploma related to Data Analytics, statistics, Business, with five years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Sales Force, Gov Grants, and other data analysis tools (Power BI etc.)
- Working knowledge of human services and the non-profit sector.
