Perform various tasks related to the development, qualification, certification and in-service support of Air Systems (ATA 21, 30, 36) on A220 aircraft;
Support investigation and perform root cause analysis for in-service and manufacturing issues;
Manage engineering changes (PCR, RFC) as technical focal.
Participate and drive the major design reviews to meet Aircraft Design Requirements and Objectives.
Manage relationship with the system suppliers, chair weekly IPDT meeting, review and approve supplier deliverables.
Ensured the interfaces between the air systems with electrical, avionic and other systems.
Participate in the definition of air system requirements (Electrical, mechanical, system, etc.) as well as their verification on the production line.
Participate in preparation of test procedure (Rig Test, Ground test, Flight Test); Witnessing of tests may be required.
Provide production support to Final Assembly Line.
Act as work package focal to coordinate with other functions & disciplines of Airbus Commercial aircraft programs, such as Production, Customer Support, Program Office, and Product Planning, to provide required information and also to collect required data, in order to ensure the advancement of the projects.
Report to various level of management in governance meetings.
As our ideal candidate,
You hold a University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
You have at least two (2) years of relevant experience with the design, development, integration and certification of Air Systems or five (5) years of experiences with integration of other aerospace systems.
You have knowledge of DO-160 & DO-178 process ( an asset)
You are familiar with part FAR25/525 certification process and have experience with civil aircraft and airworthiness authorities.( an asset)
Experience with complex Continued Airworthiness Risk Assessments (an asset)
