Description:
As a Agriculture Test Engineer, your responsibilities include:
- Design and implement both automated and manual software testing suites for Hexagon Autonomy & Positioning ‘s agriculture products
- Promote and lead our best practices across software and systems testing
- Define, develop, and carry out test processes and tools
- Test all software delivered as per defined test schedules and processes including documentation
- Participate and contribute to Hexagon A&P’s test engineering community of practice
- Develop, iterate, monitor, and report performance and contextual metrics
- Create data characterization models using statistics, mathematics, and data analytics. Participate and provide contribution to Hexagon A&P’s Test Engineering Community of Practice
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- 3+ years' experience in software test design and execution or software development with a large proportion of testing
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geomatics or related discipline
- Proficiency in Python programming and scripting tools
- Experience working with source control repositories like GitLab or GitHub
- Experience with test automation and/or worked within a formal software testing environment
- Excellent analytical skills and be able to produce high-quality test reports, procedures, and other similar documentation
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle
