Description:
Procurement & Management:
Support execution of enterprise insurance strategy through quantitative analysis of cost/ benefit and financial modelling.
Lead and implement development of assigned components of enterprise insurance renewal submission on an annual basis.
Advisory:
Lead and perform sophisticated insurance contract reviews, complex construction insurance placement and associated decision support processes.
Lead and perform insurance-related project due diligence as part of investment review processes, including risk identification.
Claims:
Collaborate with internal partners to support claims handling activities, and improve procurement processes through feedback loop.
Support claims management and recoveries, and associated decision support systems.
Culture & Environment:
Foster a team culture of technical excellence through the support for the design and use of meticulous and frequent scenario-based technical learning; attendance at formal industry learning opportunities.
Who you are
Required:
You will have 4 or more years of experience in insurance, claims management actuarial or statistical roles.
Post-secondary education, preferably in business, law, or actuarial science.
Extensive working knowledge of insurance policy language, industry standards, risk management practices and principles, contract and civil law, insurance program design and implementation and insurance contract wording.
Ability to effectively manage large, multi-faceted projects that may vary in nature and scope and predictability.
Proficient with Microsoft suite of applications.
