Advisor Business Analysis

Description:

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for system improvements.

• Partner with enterprise functional and technical teams to prepare for user acceptance testing.

• Conducts regression testing for GDS Systems (for GDS & Enterprise changes).

• Establish good relationships and maintain effective communication with Enbridge partners as well as DO and CC process teams.

• Develop and send communication to partners advising them of the impacts of system improvements

• Act as a liaison between business partners and developers, stepping in where needed to clarify, communicate, and provide support.

• Take ownership of assigned duties and successfully implement on all tasks while balancing multiple demands simultaneously.

• Apply problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills in order to facilitate end to end requirements gathering.

• Facilitate design sessions and document solution design.

• Develop test scripts and test data with the possibility of some test execution.

• Co-ordinate change management Planning and Impact analysis.

Who You Are

• Related university degree and four‐plus years’ experience in business or systems analysis OR six‐plus years of previous field/operations experience. Equivalent mix of formal education and experience may be considered.

• Knowledge of technology systems and solutions.

• Knowledge of technology implementation requirements and methodologies.

• Understanding of Distribution Operations or Customer Care and the needs of the business.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to make sound decisions and deliver results.

• Stellar interpersonal skills including building consensus, negotiation, and facilitation.

• CBAP Certification or other formally recognized education in the field of business analysis can be considered as an asset.
