We pride ourselves in providing quality products and excellent customer service. We are currently seeking a full-time Administrative and Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team working out of the
Montreal office in Ville St-Laurent.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Sr. Operations & Marketing Coordinator and will have the following responsibilities:
- Assist with various marketing projects including email campaigns and website updates. Create relevant content about Galen, our products and upcoming events/conferences to share with customers and suppliers
- Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insights and share with the Sales
Team
- Help grow our social media presence through LinkedIn
- Participate in brainstorming new and innovative marketing strategies
- Add and update documents to the Company internal/external file sharing platform
- Assist with updating and maintaining our price lists and active customer contracts through Excel and our ERP system (Sage)
- Support the Customer Service team when needed (order entry/confirmations, invoicing & filing)
- Develop an understanding of the GOP quality system, provide insight when improvements can be made and ensure adherence to the policies and procedures
- Develop a knowledge of the products and services offered by Galen Medical
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Perform other tasks as required and assist with various projects
Qualifications:
- Excellent English and French language skills – verbal and written
- Ideally 1 year of office and/or marketing experience in the medical industry
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve
- Strong communication skills & ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
