DUTIES
Reporting to the Training Coordinator, the successful applicant will be responsible for hosting clients for professional development training and assisting in logistical arrangements. Duties include preparing classrooms and client lounge for onsite training delivery, providing front desk coverage, greeting training participants and instructors, providing technical support to instructors (training provided), opening and moderating video conferencing sessions for virtual training, maintaining the client database, coordinating instructor materials, managing catering, preparing morning and afternoon breaks, responding to inquiries by telephone, email or in-person; assisting in the general operation of the office, coordinating onsite parking and performing other related duties as required. Some evening and some weekend work is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (2-4 years) in moderately difficult and varied administrative work; ability to multitask and solve problems; completion of post-secondary education supplemented by courses in business education or office administration; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Knowledge of MS Office is required. Experience in a training and/or customer services environment(s) would be considered an asset.
