Here's What You'll Get to Do:
Coordination of the credentialing of Postgraduate Trainees (Clinical Fellows and Residents)
- Responsible for compiling and coordinating the Medical Trainee Data reports for the Ministry of Health which impacts hospital funding
- Responsible for coordinating Resident on-call stipends submissions and responsible for ensuring the Resident call rooms meet the Professional Association of Resident of Ontario (PAIRO) standards
- Oversees the maintenance of equipment and supplies within budgetary guidelines for the 11th floor call rooms
- Serves as an initial contact and works closely with all outside organizations involved in the Trainee credentialing process, including PARO, The University of Toronto Postgraduate Office and other similar organizations
- Coordination of the annual Trainee intake orientation
- Provides training and guidance to various staff on the trainee credentialing process
- Co-ordinates and manages special assignments and projects
- Provides support to the Director and Manager as required
Here’s What You’ll Need
- Post Secondary degree or diploma or 3+ years of experience working in a related field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a high level of judgment, tact and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail in completing tasks
- Proficiently in all Microsoft applications
- Creative, self-motivated, innovative and ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative
- Superior problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and confidently manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment with many interruptions and multiple competing priorities
