Description:
This is a key support role for the Dartmouth distribution centre and has a positive impact on fellow colleagues, customers and communities. Reporting to the Manager of Administration, the candidate will assist colleagues with daily deliverables. The successful candidate must be a strong team player and have excellent relationship management skills.
Your Responsibilities
- Answering and dispatching inbound calls using an automated VoIP system
- Filing and maintaining effective filing system
- Scanning and sending signed PODs, internally (head office) and externally (customers), on a daily and weekly basis, as required
- Preparing inventory and non-inventory purchase orders for Sales and Operations teams, Admin Manager, and Plant Manager in Elmsdale, as required
- Processing credit card payments, batching off machine at day's end, forwarding payments to head office and monitoring invoicing of such orders
- Preparing weekly courier packages for head office
- Opening and distributing mail
- Ordering office supplies and monitoring of office equipment
- Photocopying payables to be forwarded to head office
- Updating price lists for Flooring Manager and VP Sales, as needed (Word and Excel)
- Issuing customer communications using Mailchimp (promotions, notices, etc.)
- Providing admin support for Elmsdale plant, as needed
Required Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of general office procedures is a must
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools
- Experience with ERP systems is an asset (Epicor)
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills
