Administrative Assistant

 

Description:

Completion of a certificate in office administration from a recognized post-secondary institution.

Two (2) years of related experience in a post-secondary environment.

Demonstrated competence with processes, procedures, and protocols in a public post-secondary education system.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Banner.

Experience with Achieve Appointment Manager software is an asset.

Experience creating, editing, and maintaining websites.

Exceptional interpersonal and written/oral communications skills, and a high level of organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure, multi-task, maintain confidentiality, and have experience working effectively in a team environment.

Experience maintaining electronic filing systems.

Sensitivity to diverse populations and demonstrated professional accountability.

Solid understanding of ethical guidelines and FOIPPA regulations.
