The Legislative Assembly of Ontario seeks an Administrative Assistant – Room Bookings who, as part of our Parliamentary Protocol and Public Relations Branch, in Toronto, ON, will provide a range of administrative support and clerical services to the Branch.

What You'll Do
You'll act with integrity to:
- Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in a non-partisan support role
- Exercise tact, diplomacy and good judgement in a politically sensitive environment
You'll support our collaboration as you:
- Provide administrative support to the booking of space by internal and external clients in the Legislative Building
- Use software to maintain and support a seamless room booking process
- Provide back-up support to the Press Gallery Coordinator
- Maintain an effective filing system for managing documents and correspondence
- Coordinate logistical requirements for special events and meetings
How do I qualify?
You demonstrate excellence through your:
- Completion of 1-year community college and/or 6 months work-related experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Verbal and written fluency in English
- Experience performing a wide range of administrative and clerical work; proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to stay organized, manage priorities, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality, and be flexible
