Description:
The Administrative Assistant, Financial Services is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative support services for the Director of Finance and the Financial Services department and is the first point of contact for the Finance office supporting a busy, dynamic, and highly confidential environment.
The incumbent is accountable for researching, compiling, analysing, and presenting accurate information in support of the functions of business planning and operations, human resource planning, financial planning, and related administrative processes. In addition, the incumbent will establish and maintain information tracking systems plus manual and electronic schedules and filing systems, and manage the co-ordination and logistical support for meetings, travel, staff professional development and conferences.
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a 3 diploma/degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Accounting.
A minimum of 3 years of practical, progressively responsible work experience performing administrative functions. Accounting and financial management experience are essential.
