Description:
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for our warehouse in Nisku, AB, within our Canadian Industrial Division. As an Administrative Assistant, you will contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
- Fielding telephone calls, filing, and data entry, typing of various correspondence and formatting of documents
- Performing a variety of Internet research functions
- Preparing word documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Calendar management and support for manager
- Assisting with meeting preparation (i.e. coordination of information, preparing tabs, and distribution of material)
- Maintaining office supply inventory and orders as appropriate
- Additional support and duties, as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate in office administration program considered an asset.
- 1 year of experience in an administrative role or equivalent technical experience.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to change.
- Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to effectively handle difficult situations and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and OneNote.
