Description:
The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative but not all-inclusive:
Primary
- Administer the flow of security screening documents and information
- Review security forms submitted by industry
- Enter, update, review, verify, amend, retrieve, track and maintain security screening and clearance information
- Gather statistical and other information to generate reports in support of security registration activities
- Research and respond to inquiries, and serve internal and external clients
- Provide advice, guidance and assistance to other employees on the use of electronic tracking, reporting and information systems and databases
- Carry out document and records management
Other
- Demonstrate work processes and procedures to other employees
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS
General and Specific Knowledge
- Administrative best practices
- Knowledge of the Government of Canada Industrial Security Program
Formal Education and/or Certification(s) and Experience
- Minimum: high school diploma with three years’ relevant experience, or the equivalent
Abilities
- Use applicable computer software and operating systems
- Manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Demonstrate attention to detail and work independently
- Be bilingual (English and French, mandatory)
