Responsibilities:
- Scan A/P back up (invoices, receivers, & POs) to server
- Send cheques received in Vaughan to AR team for processing
- Assist A/R with scanning and uploading of documents
- Update vendors with payment status as required
- Manage petty cash
- Ensure that office supplies are ordered in an organized and timely manner
- Serve as back up for general telephone line
- Provide ad hoc reports / spreadsheets or information when required
- Cross train in various activities to provide backup coverage and assistance
- Sort and distribute mail and process outbound mail
- Promote safe work practices as outlined in the WSIB Ontario regulations
- Ensure the Company’s quality policies and procedures are followed and participate in Quality Audits as required
- Participate in 1X1 meetings with the General Manager
- Participate in various committees (Health & Safety, Social Committee)
- Champion RESPECT code of behavior
- Continually challenge the status quo and identify ways to improve process and efficiency within role, department and company
- Primary employee to greet all visitors
- Other duties and projects as assigned
