Description:
The Administrative Assistant supports the Division of Rheumatology with trainees and includes the following responsibilities:
- Scheduling of trainee electives in Rheumatology on a montly basis, including PGY4 &5's in various fileds of medicine
- Monthly On-call scheduling for trainees and consultants
- Scheduling of trainee/consultant teaching and other related meetings
- Transcribing minutes from meetings
- Interactions with the Dept of Medicine for scheduling and evaluations, and with the Arthritis Society
- Ordering catering and supplies, booking rooms and other meeting arrangments
- Invoicing and reconcilitation of Rheumatology accounts
- Organizing travel and accomodations for speakers
- Support for grant application process from pharmaceutical companies
- Knowledge of internal program one45
Qualifications
Education:
- Community College Diploma in an administrative field
Experience:
- 1 year of experience working in a medical environment

- Proven ability and natural inclination to interact with people in professional, respectful and diplomatic manner
