Here’s What You’ll Get To Do
- Manage calendars, book meetings and appointments and prioritize requests
- Handle incoming inquiries and respond appropriately
- Greet and direct visitors
- Distribute, open, and sort mail, prioritize and follow-up as needed
- Establish and maintain filing system
- Photocopy, scan and fax documents as required
- Assist in the preparation of meetings and rounds
- Prepare meeting agenda and attend and take minutes
- Arrange travel, seminars, conferences, with some financial responsibility
- Prepare original documents, including letters, reports, spreadsheets, presentations and educational materials
- Provide support for maintenance and submission of dossiers and CV’s
- Work individually and in collaboration on projects, including reviews, accreditation and grant submissions
- Research information in journal and article searches
- Organize divisional retreats
- Undergo cross training with other administrative staff to allow for additional coverage
- Update the divisional website
- Provide basic human resource functions to include new hire and termination documentation, change forms, orientation appointments and time keeping responsibilities
- Establish procedures and standards with consultation from manager
- Develop performance goals and objectives to align with strategic objectives of the Division and Hospital
- Maintain confidentiality for all patient and staff personal and health information
