Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic financial team. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in various accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance on best practices and professional development

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations

• Conduct account reconciliations and account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions

• Assist in budgeting processes and financial forecasting to support strategic planning

• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation

• Prepare reports for senior management and contribute to decision-making processes regarding business challenges and opportunities

Experience and Skills:

• Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor or in a similar role within the retail or manufacturing sectors

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel

• 4+ years of experience in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, budgeting, payroll processes, and financial reporting

• Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial documentation

• Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment

• Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders across the organization
