Description:
Enter LEMs (Labour/Equipment/Material) into Maximo system and attest to contract
Verify vendor information before creations/changes are made in the financial system
Process invoices in Maximo and Open invoice
Assist in resolving Open invoice/accounting issues with employees and contractors
Resolve and follow up on vendor queries and issues in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned
What you will bring to MEG:
Third or fourth year post-secondary student working towards a business degree with an accounting major preferred
Previous accounts payable experience would be an asset but not required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
The ability to deal with people in a firm yet friendly manner
Typing and data entry skills
Accuracy
Good written and verbal communication skills
Adaptable and flexible, willing to learn and grow
Willing to ask questions
