Accounting Analyst

Description:

• Enter LEMs (Labour/Equipment/Material) into Maximo system and attest to contract

• Verify vendor information before creations/changes are made in the financial system

• Process invoices in Maximo and Open invoice

• Assist in resolving Open invoice/accounting issues with employees and contractors

• Resolve and follow up on vendor queries and issues in a timely manner

• Other duties as assigned

What you will bring to MEG:

• Third or fourth year post-secondary student working towards a business degree with an accounting major preferred

• Previous accounts payable experience would be an asset but not required

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• The ability to deal with people in a firm yet friendly manner

• Typing and data entry skills

• Accuracy

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Adaptable and flexible, willing to learn and grow

• Willing to ask questions
