We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Manager with a strong background in technology sales and financing to join this innovative team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving new business development, nurturing long-term client relationships, and expanding the company’s footprint across Canada. This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility between remote work and office presence in Burlington, ON or Montreal, QC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Build and manage a targeted list of prospective clients, focusing on creating predictable and sustainable business volume.
- Client Acquisition: Execute proactive outreach through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media engagement to connect with key decision-makers.
- Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end sales process—from initial prospect identification to structuring, negotiating, and closing tailored financing agreements.
- Client Needs Assessment: Evaluate client business requirements, financial health, and technology investments to recommend customized financing solutions.
- Credit Evaluation: Partner with underwriting teams to assess financing applications, ensuring thorough evaluation of client creditworthiness.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about evolving industry trends, changes in technology financing, and emerging opportunities to provide strategic insights.
- Issue Resolution: Handle any transaction-related issues with a customer-first approach, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with corporate clients, technology vendors, and channel partners to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Continuous Development: Adapt to changing client needs, market conditions, and internal processes, taking on new tasks and challenges as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technology financing, or technology sales within a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) or Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing targeted sales strategies.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Results-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of technology financing trends and evolving market demands.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset to effectively support clients across all Canadian provinces.
