What will you do?
Main Sun Life contact responsible for the overall service and relationship of clients
Responsible for the growth and profitability of an assigned block of business
Present and negotiate annual renewal reviews
Manage the relationship with assigned consultants
Ensure client/consultant solutions are delivered through value-added services and products
Work as an effective member of the team and cooperatively with multiple stakeholders in order to deliver the best in service to clients.
What do you need to succeed?
Extensive experience (>8 years) in group insurance (sales, underwriting or consulting) and understanding of group insurance financial management including in-depth knowledge of various funding arrangements
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and internal partners
Experience working with large, complex clients
Have expertise in group benefit plan design including flexible benefit plans, underwriting and financial management, technology and Internet applications, benefit and plan taxation, communications and administration procedures, claims practices, government legislation and current developments in the benefits field
Extremely organized and possess the ability to multi-task
Customer centric with the ability to be attentive and responsive to changing needs
Demonstrates strong leadership and the ability to work successfully in a team environment
Self-starter and results oriented with superior problem solving, negotiation and analytical skills
Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
Possesses a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Assets: University degree and/or Professional designation such as CEBS
Notes/Unique Requirements:
Small amount of travel may be required with occasional overnight travel
