Description:
Reviewing and revising insurance program in conjunction with the client to ensure complete and appropriate coverage
Coordinating/providing oversight to the account team and establish client service plans that prioritize the account activities and profitability in a value based approach for the scope of services required
Coordinating/leading the strategy for the account renewal and the ongoing requirements during the year, including the marketing processes and negotiations with underwriters
Managing and being responsible for the 120-day Renewal Process including preparing the renewal report, presenting to client for approval, obtaining the binding order and reviewing policy documentation and delivering to client in a timely manner
Developing and nurturing client relationships to achieve high client retention and cultivate opportunities to grow client the client relationships
Managing all information needed to take an application, prepare quotations, calculate premiums, bind coverage and prepare documents for billing
Assisting with correspondence, client insurance summaries, promotional material, reports and presentations
Collaborating with brokers and/or contacting underwriters directly to negotiate the best terms and conditions, premiums and coverage

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Commerce or similar field is preferred
10+ years commercial insurance experience
Experience in the fields of: Utilities; Power (including renewable); Real Estate and/or Technology Industries is an asset
Insurance education qualifications, such as any of CIP, FIIC, CRM
Professional, with a high level of business acuity
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of individuals including clients, underwriters, and colleagues at all seniority levels
Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team
Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
Demonstrated negotiation skills
