Agnostic, one of Canada’s fastest-growing, full-service communications agencies is searching for a passionate, motivated Account Director to join our growing team. THE ROLE
You will:
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge and passion for corporate communications
- Effectively provide senior counsel and leadership for both clients and teams
- Work closely with Agnostic’s senior leadership team in the growth, development and long-term success of our business and our people
- Act as a primary client contact, continually building and fostering strong client-agency relationships grounded in transparency and trust
- Have a strong track-record of building and presenting successful concepts for clients and new business opportunities alike
- Proactively drive the growth and development of client accounts and Agnostic team members, equally
- Be naturally curious and ambitious
Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as a lead across multiple accounts, building and nurturing strong client relationships
- Provide mentorship, guidance and support to both direct reports and account team members
- Encourage teams to constantly dig deeper, focusing on living our ethos of Better Thinking, Better Results
- Design and develop strategic communications recommendations across the corporate, technology and/or healthcare industries
- Effectively lead teams in the roll-out of programs and campaigns, ensuring all employees are engaged and working effectively
- Have your finger on the pulse of marketing and communications trends and the media landscape, bringing new and exciting opportunities to our clients to help solve their business challenges
- Lead new business development and integrated communications
Skills & Experience
- Background: 8+ years of experience, primarily in an agency setting
- Strong client service focus with an ability to set and manage expectations
- Superior operational and analytical skills and a flawless attention to detail
- Proven track record of winning and growing business
- Experience in mentoring and fostering growth in junior staff
